These little mailboxes are everywhere in NZ. And they can only be accessed by foot delivery. I have not seen any of the ones like we have in the states that stick out on the road so you can drive by and deliver the mail. They come in all shapes and sizes, but commonly down low, like this one pictured. Some are in better shape than others. I wrote and delivered postcards today which reminded me of these little things.
Wouldn't that make a gorgeous Little Free Library?
