The Catlins

Shannon is just about to get her feet wet in the South Pacific Ocean for the first time.

We took a drive south of the city today to The Catlins which is the area at the southern end of New Zealand's south island, and it includes Catlins Forest Park. We didn't go there, but we did go to Nugget Point and to Purakaunui Falls. Here are a few highlights from today:
