This was the one chance I feel like I got to take a good shot.  Not much of a photo but sometimes we biked through fields of sheep.   This is Danielle,  and she is amazing.  She is so funny and someone you would never think of on a trip like this. The Center of New Zealand

This was shot on the way down from the center of NZ, in the town of Nelson. My taxi driver told me about it on our way to my hotel. I love these clever little gates that you pass through.  They keep the sheep in apparently.  I only saw one. I've been passing the time waiting for our group to meet.  

Kia Ora

It means Mahalo only it's NZ's welcome phrase.  I'm finally here! What a crazy trek to get here.  I sat on the plane from Vancouver to Auckland with....a doctor; emergency exit seats, go figure.  But he lives in NZ part time and gave me some tips on how to navigate the airport that helped out a LOT! I am so elated and tired at the same time.  It's hard to think of resting when I want to go exploring.
